Saturday, May 17th will be a deliciously fun and historic day around the world. That’s the day The VanDuzer Foundation
will attempt to break the Guinness World’s Record for the Longest Line of Pizzas as part of a fundraiser for the newly
created foundation, which helps St. Lucie County families and individuals in crisis. The mission of the VanDuzer Foundation
is to assist families and individuals in St. Lucie County Florida, who are experiencing financial and personal hardship brought
about by unforeseen crisis or tragedy.
As you can imagine, creating a world’s record-breaking line of pizzas is a lot of work and expense, and when it’s
all over, you’re left with a whole lot of slices of the world’s best pizza. And since there are lots of hungry
children on the Treasure Coast and everybody loves pizza, as part of the event, The VanDuzer Foundation will be giving away
nearly 6,000 slices of pizza that day. To add to the fun, All In Fun, Incorporated will be providing six bounce houses, a
boxing ring, a Velcro wall, obstacle course, entertainment by the Italy-bound Avenue D Boys’ Choir, water slides, cotton
candy and a dunk tank featuring local celebrities, politicians and people you’d just LOVE to see all wet!
It’s a perfect opportunity for your business or organization to assist the VanDuzer Foundation in helping St. Lucie
County families and individuals in crisis AND supporting family fun events here in the community. If you’d like to help
by sponsoring children from area schools, we’ve created a variety of sponsorship opportunities and levels that are affordable
and will help show your support for the children, The VanDuzer Foundation and the community.
Please take a moment to look over the attached flyer for the deliciously exciting and world record-breaking event and
consider becoming a $1,000 or $500 school sponsor, enabling children from a local school of your choice to be your personal
guests at the event, which will include free DNA kits, participation by Big Brothers Big Sisters and an official visit by
Sheriff Ken Mascara and the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Department Helicopter. If you’re interested in sponsoring,
please contact Jefferson Award Winner and President of The VanDuzer Foundation, Scott VanDuzer at (772) 528-3467, or via e-mail
at scott@thevanduzerfoundation.org. The VanDuzer Foundation will also recognize all sponsors at the $1,000 level and above
in all printed materials, and during announcements and presentations at the event.
Whether you come as a sponsor or simply as a participant, please plan to attend the event at Big Apple Pizza and Pasta
in Fort Pierce, located right across from IRCC’s Fort Pierce Campus at 2311 S. 35th Street on Saturday, May 17th from
11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the official measuring and breaking of the Guinness World Record happening at…when else, HIGH
NOON!
